Merchant Statement Review Process

A merchant statement review should do more than search for one low rate. Process Rite organizes the pricing model, fee categories, equipment charges, service terms, and operating context so the merchant can ask better questions and compare proposals more accurately.

Who the review is for

The review is intended for an operating business that can provide a recent statement and explain how it accepts payments.

What we request

  • A representative processing statement with unnecessary sensitive data removed.
  • Business type, volume, average ticket and payment channels.
  • Current equipment, software, gateway and integrations.
  • Known contract, lease, cancellation and replacement terms.

What we review

We organize visible interchange and card-network related costs, processor markup, transaction fees, monthly and annual charges, gateway and PCI-related lines, equipment or software, pricing model, transaction mix and contract questions.

What one statement cannot prove

One period may not represent seasonal volume or card mix and may not reveal every contract obligation, future price change, equipment restriction or provider requirement. Process Rite does not promise savings or approval.

What the merchant receives

The result is a plain-language organization of the visible pricing structure and questions requiring clarification.

Document handling

Do not send unredacted bank-account, Social Security, cardholder or identity information through ordinary email. Use the approved submission method and remove information that is not needed.
